White Strawberries (200g Punnet)

White or blush strawberries are sweeter than red strawberries, with overtones of a tropical flavour and smell, somewhat like a cross between a strawberry and a pineapple.

Grown in climate-controlled glass houses in Gippsland, Victoria, white strawberries are delicious and new to the Australian food scene.

With only limited supplies, they are certainly more expensive than traditional strawberry prices, but they are truly a special treat. 

Serve them at room temperature.
