Large, juicy, sweet and seedless Navel oranges (are Australia’s winter orange), they have a bright orange coloured rind are easy to peel and are rich in flavour.

Navel oranges are laden with juice and eat nicely. Before juicing oranges grate the zest or peel oranges. Store in the freezer in a plastic bag or airtight container, so if you need an orange rind to flavouring a cake, muffins or dessert you will have some at hand. It sure beats wasting it.
