Avocados Hass (3 in Tray)

Australian grown Hass are in season from May through to January. This variety has a spherical shape and a thick pebbly skin that darks from a shiny, darkgreen to a purple-black on ripening.

Once ripe Hass avocados have smooth nutty flavoured flesh. 

Choose plump avocados that yield to gentle pressure for eating within 1–2 days once ripe. Allow 2–4 days for firm avocados to ripen. Shape and texture depend on the variety.

Leave avocados at room temperature out of direct sunlight. To speed ripening, place in a brown paper bag with a ripe banana. Store ripe avocados in the fridge. Use within 1–2 days.
