Cape Gooseberries (Punnet)

Also known as golden or tomato berries, these cherry tomato-sized berries are encased in a papery cape.

Ripen to a golden colour for maximum sweetness. They have a delicious, sweet, piquant flavour at their peak and are ideal for adding to a fruit salad or cheese board.

They can be stored a room temperature for 5-7 days. 

The season is short, so grab a punnet when in season.
